Book Signing with Chris Register at Horton Vineyards

Come enjoy their beautiful views and award-winning wines while chatting with Chris about his epic bicycle journey into America. You can also pick up a personalized, signed copy of his recently-released book, Conversations With US - American Southwest.

From publisher Spoke & Word Books:

Concerned about the increasing sense of division in America, Chris Register ditched a career in law and set forth on a pedal-powered odyssey across the United States, seeking to rediscover the shared values and experiences that make us a nation. Conducting one interview per day over a cumulative year, he heard from ranchers, bankers, drug addicts, musicians, autoworkers, and other everyday Americans who could spare a few minutes for a chat. His hundreds of conversations and 16,000 miles of solo cross-country cycling are now being compiled into the Conversations With US book series. Chris will be on hand to discuss everything from the technical aspects of a long-distance bike tour to the lessons he learned and ways his perspectives changed while exploring this vast, diverse country. His Surly Long Haul Trucker touring bicycle will be present, too!
